Analytics infrastructure for account-based finance.
Founded in 2023 by engineers and data leads who spent years inside banking and payments platforms, wishing product analytics understood what a "funded account" actually was.
Our founders spent the early parts of their careers inside a mid-size card issuer, plugging general-purpose analytics tools into a core banking stack and watching them fail in the same way every time: a loan disbursement got logged as a "purchase," a KYC rejection looked identical to a form abandon, and every account type collapsed into one undifferentiated "user."
So they built an internal mapping layer instead — one that understood account types, verification states, and regulated transaction flows on its own terms. Other teams inside the bank started asking to use it. In 2023, it became its own company.
Lucid Analytics is now used by banks, credit unions, and lending platforms who need product-level insight without asking their compliance team to make an exception for it.
Built for the regulated, not around it
We don't treat compliance as a constraint to work around. The schema, the retention rules, and the access controls are designed with your compliance team in the room from the start.
PII stays where it already lives
We don't need a copy of your customers' personal data to tell you how your product performs. Identifiers are stripped and hashed before anything leaves your environment.
Analysts, not just dashboards
Every Growth and Enterprise account gets a quarterly review with an actual analyst who has read your data, not a support ticket queue.
Slow trust, fast software
Financial institutions move carefully, for good reason. We'd rather earn a longer sales cycle than ship something your security team can't sign off on.

Remote-first, with a small office in Chicago for the clients who'd rather see the data room in person. We're a team of nine today, hiring slowly for engineering and implementation roles — reach out if that sounds like you.
